My Mum, Your Mum
A self-initiated project that began with the prompt ‘queen’ resulted in an exploration of family trees. When comparing my family tree to that of the royal family different lines of connection were unveiled.
‘My Mum, Your Mum’Mum’ showcases the similiarites as well as stark differences between families. The cross over in imagery is sometimes uncanny, but the greater context adds an element of humour, or even unease within the reader.
